How we work
Everybody goes home.
Heavy iron on a live location leaves no room for improvisation. Here's how we run a job.
Our practices
Operators in the Bakken screen contractors on safety before they screen on price — and rightly so. This is what we hold ourselves to.
-
Certified operators
Lifts are run by certified operators. Personnel lifts use man baskets suspended from the crane so people are raised safely and securely.
-
Licensed and insured
Fully licensed, insured and certified for the work we take on — documentation available to customers on request.
-
Maintained equipment
A well-maintained fleet, inspected and serviced on schedule. Published capacities are nominal ratings; actual capacity is worked off the load chart for the radius, configuration and ground conditions on the day.
-
Rigging and lift gear
Spreader beams in multiple sizes and capacities, matched to the pick rather than forced to fit.
-
Planned picks
Before a tandem lift or a critical pick, we run the chart with you. If the job needs more crane than we carry, we say so rather than stretching a rating.
-
Around-the-clock response
Open 24 hours, 7 days a week. Closed Christmas Day. Emergency work is dispatched to crews already working western North Dakota and eastern Montana.
Need our safety documentation?
Purchasing and HSE teams can request certificates of insurance, operator certifications and our safety documentation directly.

This page needs your real credentials
The section above is limited to claims already made on the current website. To make this page actually work as a procurement gate, we need the real numbers from you — nothing here has been guessed or filled in on your behalf:
- Contractor management status — ISN, Avetta, PEC or Veriforce
- EMR rating and the year it applies to
- TRIR / DART figures, if you publish them
- Operator certifications — NCCCO or equivalent
- Training programs and frequency
- Any safety awards or customer recognitions
